Process Standards
Process Standards
Section titled “Process Standards”LoadX process standards define how a sail project moves from proposal to design review, reviewed design, production, finished sails, and quality responsibility.
Public Workflow
Section titled “Public Workflow”| Stage | Purpose | Required record |
|---|---|---|
| Proposal | Align the customer inquiry, options, pricing, and visible assumptions. | Branded proposal record |
| Design Review | Check measurements, materials, finish decisions, exclusions, and open questions. | Design review notes |
| Reviewed Design | Confirm the design is approved for production planning. | Reviewed design package |
| Production | Build finished sails under LoadX standards. | Production and quality record |
Boundary
Section titled “Boundary”Proposal records and free specs align the sale. Production starts only from a reviewed design that has become an approved production record.
Quality Responsibility
Section titled “Quality Responsibility”Each production record should make quality responsibility explicit:
- What the loft confirmed with the customer
- What LoadX reviewed before production
- Which LoadX standards apply to the finished sails
- Which measurements, materials, and component choices were used
- Which checks were completed before delivery
